| Pats send fourth-round pick to Bucs, get seventh-rounder with Talib
APThe trade of Aqib Talib from the Buccaneers to the Patriots has involved a fourth-round pick going from New England to Tampa Bay,[url=http://www.moncleroutleto.co.uk]moncler london[/url], and a seventh-round pick going from Tampa Bay to New England.Shortly after word broke that Talib had been traded, the Buccaneers announced that they had sent both Talib and a seventh-round pick in the 2013 NFL Draft to New England in exchange for the Patriots' fourth-round pick in the 2013 NFL Draft.The Buccaneers now own eight selections in the 2013 draft: one each in rounds one, two, three, five, six and seven, and two in round four.The Patriots, who in the past had earned a reputation for stockpiling future picks, are now down their fourth-round pick in the 2013 NFL draft for Talib, plus their fifth-round pick, which they sent to the Redskins for Albert Haynesworth, and their sixth-round pick, which they sent to the Bengals for Chad Ochocinco. The Patriots can only hope the Talib trade works out better than the Haynesworth and Ochocinco trades. |
