The Detroit native performed in the pre-Temptations group Otis Williams & the Distants, then sang with Williams and The Temptations from 1971 to 1993. Street can be heard on the group's signature hits "Papa Was a Rollin' Stone," "Superstar [Remember How You Got Where You Are,]" "Heavenly" and "Hey Girl [I Like Your Style.]"The Times said Street enjoyed a successful solo career up until recently, touring widely in Europe last year.He is survived by his wife and four children.ANASTACIA: U.S. pop star Anastacia has announced a second diagnosis of breast cancer has forced her to cancel her upcoming European concert tour. "Anastacia has sadly been diagnosed with breast cancer for the second time after having successfully survived her 2003 battle with the disease," a message on her website said Wednesday. "Consequently she has been forced to cancel all performances, tours and any travel from now until further notice," the message said. "Anastacia was excited about her forthcoming European tour which was due to start April 6 in London. ... Please respect her need for privacy during such a trying time.""I feel so awful to be letting down all my amazing fans who were looking forward to [my] 'It's a Man's World Tour.'
